How much to tip your hair stylist?

My stylist is not cheap. For a deep conditioning, color, and cut its 180. I tipped 20. was that enough?? Someone else does the dying and shampoo. He cuts, dries, and styles. And do I need to tip the other person as well? And how much? This was my first time at this pricey salon. Great work but expensive. I guess you get what you pay for

20 dollars is an adequate tip. That is about a 10% tip!
Same as you tip a waiter… 15% more if you really liked it, less if you didnt. And yes, you should give the person that shampooed you a couple bucks too.
$180 for color conditioning and cut?
wow.
like 15% tip.
You should tip both your stylist and the guy who dyes and shampoos your hair separately. And a 15-20% tip is good, if they did a crappy job then tip them less.
I don’t tip my hair stylist. I pay her only what she charges to do my hair, but if I did tip I would pay 10 percent. That’s how much you would pay waiters at a restaurant.
thats good deal for color, cut and conditioner.
$20 isn’t even 20%. they say now-a-days that 20% is the new 15%….and for the time and effort they put into your hair, i’d say 20 bucks is good, but it 20% ($36) would be better.
That sounds about right! That’s what we tip are usual hairstylist(also a pricey salon)
Atleast 20 % & Yes, you should tip all the other person as well.
