Mens fashion tips

Need help on looking good. I am terrible at picking clothes how can I become better. I am a small men’s with brown hair and blue/green with and have black circles underneath my eyes. Any suggestions on making me look better with clothes and face!

I’ve noticed a lot of condescending attitude towards bigger women - especially in the Beauty and Style section here on Answers. Sometimes, when a bigger woman asks a simple question about clothes (or just wants some fashion tips), people will give her somewhat rude answers that have nothing to with the question. They give her dieting tips and telling her to lose weight - even though she didn’t ask for it. I guess I just don’t understand the hostility…

Hi, I’m around 110kg (250 pounds)

Long story cut short, I’m about to run out and buy some clothes, but I’ve never been good with “modern” casual clothing. So any tips for an overweight 19 year old will be nice
Like what type of a top/bottoms should I buy? And it needs to be something more flexible then just walking around.

I don’t mind Jeans (as that’s all I wear really.) what type colour Jeans would suit an overweight person? etc…

I’m not like, fat fat, its just I’m pretty overwieght I would say.. 250 pounds is alot, but I’m not short either… So it kinda levels out. But I am way bigger then the average person, so any tips on that?

To littlerobbergirl- no I don’t necessarily mean “fashion” in that sense. Lol no need to convince me. I patch my clothes up until they fall apart.. But, obviously, people do want to look nice and sometimes we need new clothes. Better to buy ethical. Always do second-hand and clothes-swapping etc but sometimes need/desire something that’s not. Can’t all be perfect, eh!? Thanks for your suggestions.
Also, needs to be BRITISH - UK.. afraid we can’t buy in dollars here.

After finishing up over 4 years in the military, I’ve noticed my wardrobe needs a complete makeover. I never had a reason to buy nice clothes before(Uniform and combat boots was all i needed) , but now that I will be going on job interviews and possibly getting a job in an office type setting, I need a complete wardrobe makeover. The brand of clothes I have now are a little to young for my age (I’m 24) . I have brands like baby phat, rocawear, eckored and lots of sweats!! LOL ..
So I need to step it up to brands like bannaa republic, JCrew stuff like that but they are quite expensive and I’ve noticed their cuts of fabric for the ladies on the small side (I’m 5′6 145) Are there other retailers that offer the same quality nice /business type apparel without being so expensive and ones that offer various different sizes to accomadate women over a size 4? Also I don’t want to dress to to old, but professional and trendy. Maybe “What not to Wear” can help?? LOL

On the BBC site there is a section about “what not to wear” aimed at women, where one can fill in the question boxes about body shape and then it suggests clothes to wear. Is there a similar site where men can enter their height weight and body shape and it will suggest suitable clothes for particular occasions?

i have been studying fashion design and have some great ideas that would really work.
its mainly hollywood club wear style and london club scene style. i have some good designs for formal chic too.
how can i get my ideas out there? i have worn a few designs out to clubs and a few people asked where i bought my clothes from, coz they wanted some.
its mens and womens designs i do, now i want to go ahead and make my designs come to life on a larger scale (not too large to start)
how can i get my stuff noticed? and what do you thinks a good name for a clothing lable? i have a few ideas but am interested in more ideas.
